Children's Museum and a Winter Ride

We decided to get a 6 month membership to the Children's Museum down at the Gateway. It's kind of a drive for us, but it was so inexpensive to get the membership verses paying for the three of us to go once, so we decided to try it. The day we went was super busy (it was a holiday) but you still enjoyed yourself. (By the way, if any of my local friends have memberships, let us know and we'll tag a long with you).

It was ALMOST 40 degree's today. You and dad took a quick stroll down to the mailbox with your new bike. I can't wait to see you on it this spring!

The beginning of the end (I hope)

Okay, we're doing it. We're trying to get rid of Buddy. I don't really want to get rid of him... just stop Hyrum from sucking on the nose. So... my plan was to sew his nose down. This way he could still play with him, but can't suck on the nose. It's working so far. Although, he's pretty upset.

These are a few of the things we've heard today. "I can't do it" (I'm guessing you can't get his nose away from his stomach). "I want it off" "Other Buddy" (asking for another Buddy). He's been saying that the Buddy is dirty -hoping for a clean one, and I'm sure hoping for one that doesn't have his nose sewn.

I hope this transition goes smoothly, and quickly. Next up? Toilet training!

Good morning

You're a morning person. You wake up pretty early most days (between 6:30 and 7:30 -unless you hear Baby Kate and she wakes you up earlier), but you're always super happy when you get up. I started saying "Good morning" to you, probably since you were born, and now when you come out of your room, that's the first thing you say. I should probably get a quick video of it, because it sounds pretty cute. And, who knows if you'll stay a morning person, but I bet you will.

Bonk

When you were younger your dad started playing the bonking game with you. Because I usually see the negative side of thing, I wasn't thrilled with the idea. Lucky for you, you've got a pretty hard head, because sometimes it really hurt! Poor Kate has felt first hand a couple of times the bonking game, and apparently a few of the kids at nursery have as well.

I've warned your dad that he can't play the bonking game with any of your siblings.
